Growing up in Tampa, there wasn’t much to do in the last 5 years. Tampa has really grown to be a hot spot for many different events and activities. Krate the Grove has been open for 3 years. The establishment successfully took 94 shipping containers and turned them into restaurants and retail shops. If you haven’t checked it out yet, make sure to add this stop to your list. Krate the Grove holds an awesome event on the first Friday of every month with over 100 different vendors that offer a variety of food, crafts, shops, and entertainment for families and friends.
Highlighting Local Vendor
My favorite thing about the Krate the Grove first Friday event is the support for local businesses. With over 100 vendors participating, this event provides a platform for small businesses really showcase their product and connect with a community. My focus during this event was to capture the passion of these vendors. Even though it’s so hot in the Florida summer, these vendors have a huge smile on their face, ready to lend a helping hand. I want these pictures to not only capture there essence but encourage people to shop locally and support small businesses.
Family-Friendly Affair
The Krate First Friday event is truly a family-friendly affair. They have different activities and entertainment for all ages. From having interactive games and face painting to live performances. There was even a wine slush bar that was especially my favorite spot to be at with this Florida heat. Getting to capture moments between parents and grandparents just enjoying a night out with their loved ones was truly a highlight of the night.
Krate the Grove first Friday is an event you and family definitely need to check out! We will be out there for the next one on August 2, so if you see us stop by and say hello!
